Specialist Areas: 

Dominique works with our clients to help them avoid industrial relations problems by ensuring they have appropriate documentation, systems and procedures in place and they comply with Industrial Relations Law.

She helps clients avoid unfair dismissal, unlawful dismissal and discrimination claims by guiding them through the legal requirements and represents clients with unfair dismissal, unlawful dismissal or discrimination cases.

Dominique is also involved in Building and Construction Law, both at the front end, drafting and negotiating building and construction contracts and contract administration and at the back end, representing clients in adjudications, tribunal and court proceedings.

Career Summary:

She began her career working in Sydney for a law firm which specialised in Building and Construction Law. In addition to helping clients with contracts and disputes, she was also heavily involved in helping the firm’s clients change their systems and procedures to comply with the then new Fair Work Australia Industrial Relations regime. Dominique completed her tertiary study at the University of Wollongong in New South Wales. She began her career working in Sydney in where she worked for a law firm for 2 years practising Industrial Relations and Building and Construction law. Since joining McKays Dominique has continued to practise in Building and Construction law and Industrial Relations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Laws (University of Wollongong NSW)
• Bachelor of Arts (English Studies) (University of Wollongong NSW)
• Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (College of Law NSW)
• Admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales
