Doug assists clients with commercial disputes and litigation, involving construction law. Doug works with members of many trade associations including Electrical and Communications Association (ECA), Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association of Queensland Limited (AMCA), Master Plumbers Association of Queensland (MPAQ), and the National Fire Industry Association of Queensland (NFIAQ) as well as various others.
Career Summary:
Doug began his career as a carpenter and joiner by trade. He obtained his open builder licence and worked within the building industry as a principal of his own building firm for over 20 years. Doug then made a career move to a law firm in Bundaberg where he worked for 6 years. He joined McKays Solicitors in 2008 where he practises in litigation.
